Hey there friends,
Those who have been here for a while know how strongly I feel about praying Scripture. Studying God’s Word and praying it back to Him helps me stay focused on The Cross of Christ. When I don’t know what or how to pray for a family member or friend in need I turn to God’s Word and through that the Holy Spirit leads me in how I should pray. Today I want to share with you 5 verses to pray in a time of waiting. Do you have scripture you pray in a time of waiting I don’t have listed here? I would love for you to share them in the comments.
5 Verses to Pray in a Time of Waiting
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
“I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:13,14
“If the Lord delights in a man’s way he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.” Psalm 37:23,24
“I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.” Proverbs 4:11,12
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.'” Isaiah 30:21
