For the last few months on Mondays we have been focusing on specific prayers for our husbands. Today I wanted to take the time to summarize the verses. Coming soon I will share a free pdf download of the verses but for today they are listed below. Have a blessed week my friends.
9 Verses to Pray over My Husband
His Foundation ~ Matthew 7:25 “The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house: yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”
His Purpose ~ Philippians 3:12-14“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
His Path ~ Matthew 7:13,14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
His Heart ~ Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a pure heart, O God. And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
His Healing ~ Acts 3:16 “By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.”
In God’s Word ~ Psalm 1:2 “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.”
His Calling ~ Ephesians 4:1,2 “Walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love.”
His Walk ~ Psalm 101:6 “My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me.”
Wisdom ~ James 1:5,6 “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”
