“The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”
Matthew 7:25
Today’s prayer for our husbands comes from Matthew 7:25. Our husbands won’t always be in a time of stress, discouragement or fear. There will be times when life is easy, fun and productive. Let’s pray today that when our husbands aren’t struggling under the weight of difficulties and discouragement that they will build their foundation of strength on Christ, the One who is the Solid Rock.
Dear Lord,
There are times when my husband needs strength to stand up against the storms of life. We know that strength comes only from you, our Solid Rock. I pray that during times when life is easier he will take the time to build his foundation in you. Give him the time to study Your Word. Give him Godly men who will encourage his walk with You. May he grow each day stronger in Your Love and Your Truth. In Your Name I Pray, Amen.
In His Calm,

Love that God gives us the opportunity to support our husband’s through prayer. Blessings!
I love this. I am just crazy about my husband and pray for him daily, but having that grasp of how to pray for my husband kind of stalls me at times. Thank you for sharing this. I don’t know if you do this all the time. I just got here on another post from Five Minute Friday. I plan to return and look forward to it.
Kelly, I’m so glad you found The Calm of His Presence! Each Monday I post about marriage or praying for my husband. I would love for you to come back.
