Day 1 – Pure Heart
Create in me a pure heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51: 10-12 NIV
Today’s passage begins with David asking God to create a clean heart with-in him. As you go through your first day of focused prayer, ask God to create a pure heart with-in you. Do you have unconfessed sin you need to work out with God? Ask Him to reveal any sin that may come between the two of you. Then spend time working through today’s study.

Prayer
Pray God’s Words back to Him, making it personally applicable to you. Is God asking you to do something? Talk with Him about it. Do you have a specific concern? Lay it at the foot of The Cross.
