Day 3 – God’s Leading
The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. Psalm 37:23,24 NLT
The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength, You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. Isaiah 58:11 NLT
Yesterday we submitted to following God’s path, wherever He may lead. As you begin to take the steps God is directing you on, there will be hard days. You will stumble and feel dry. When those days happen, lean into God and ask Him to take you by the hand so you don’t give up or grow tired. Ask Him to refresh you and strengthen you.
Thanksgiving
Thank God for the quiet moments to spend in His Presence.
Focus
Ask God to remove distractions so you may focus your heart and mind on Him. Make notes on your to-do list if something comes to mind you need to do later.
God’s Revelation through His Word
Are there words or phrases that stand out to you? Circle or underline those phrases in your Bible. Are there spiritual lessons, truths or principles that you can learn? How is God asking you to act?
Prayer
Pray God’s Words back to Him, making it personally applicable to you. Have you grown weary and tired? What specifically do you need from God to help restore your strength? Talk with Him about it. Do you have a specific concern? Lay it at the foot of The Cross.
In His Calm,
