After a few weeks off I am happy to be back to Five Minute Friday. Five Minute Friday is hosted by Lisa-Jo where writers take 5 minutes to sit and write freely on the prompt for the week.
Start
There is this song we are learning in choir titled Bring My Praise.
You knew me before I was born
You made me special in your eyes
You taught me how to sing your praise
You listen when I call your name
No one else can bring my praise but me
No one else can give my offering
You have put a love song deep inside of me
No one else can bring my praise but me
My children’s footprints from the day they came home from the hospital are on the first and last page of my bible. Each time I look at those tiny little prints I am reminded that God knew each of them and saw their footprints when they were in my womb.
And when I think about that I am reminded that God knew me and saw my footprints before I was born.
The most incredible thing is that he not only knew me and saw my footprints before I was born, but He saw me each day of my life from birth to my 40th birthday and will continue to See me each day of my life.
He made me special in His eyes and is with me every moment of every day.
He sees me when I wake and when I lie down. He sees me when I’m happy and when I’m sad. He sees me and knows me and for that I give Him Praise.
And on my last day here on earth He will see me as I pass into His Glory forever praising Him in Heaven.

What an incredible thing to contemplate how God sees us! Found myself meditating on Psalm 139 as I read your words. What a sweet thing to have your children’s footprints in your Bible. Love it!
So very true. He sees everything – every minute detail of who we are and loves with such abandon and passion that our minds can’t even comprehend. But it’s fun trying to. Beautiful post. Here from FMF. Have a great weekend!
