Hi there my friend. Thank you so much for joining me as we take the journey of 31 Days At The Cross. In the post How do we take our issues and concerns to the Cross of Christ I shared with you I struggled with feeling like God was too busy to deal with my hurts. I didn’t believe He had time for me with all the other issues in the world but that was all an excuse. You can read more of that post here.
But my friend the real reason was I didn’t know how to go to God with my frustrations, struggles, heartache, loneliness, and uncertainty. It took getting to the point where I was broken, confused, and hurt with nowhere else to turn before I realized I had someone who was always willing to sit with me and listen to my heart.
That someone was and is God. You see, he knows what is on my heart and mind. He knows what hurts me. I just need to be willing to sit quietly with Him. I didn’t become an expert in going to God overnight. It took time to get to the place where I sat in His Presence. In fact, to be completely honest with you there are days even now when I’m “so busy” I don’t make the time to sit in His Presence at the foot of The Cross. When that happens within a few days I am off kilter and something just isn’t right. It’s then that I am reminded I haven’t slowed down enough to spend one on one time with God.
But how did I finally get to the point when I realized I needed to take my hurt, pain, struggles, heartache and uncertainty to God? Several years ago I shared a post on how I reached the breaking point and fell before God and unloaded all of the pain I felt At The Cross. I would love for you to take the time to read my heart in the post “In His Presence”.

So my friend, I hope through the 3 days of At The Cross you have begun to learn how to take your frustrations, struggles, heartache, loneliness, and uncertainty and place them At The Cross of Christ. Please know I am praying for you as you take this journey. If you would like to connect a little more you can connect with me on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter. Have a blessed weekend my friend.
In His Calm,
